August is Fat Liberation Month, an annual celebration created by NAAFA, the National Association to Advance Fat Acceptance. All month they are hosting accessible events as well as a Virtual Auction that goes live on August 15, 2026.
Making Waves Fat Swim is a donation based community. The suggested minimum contribution is $10 and if you are able to give more, please do. They do not turn anyone away for lack of funds and organizers are paying to rent the pool and cover liability insurance.
Power Plus Wellness partners with accredited instructors and HAES®-aligned fitness studios to offer over 30 joyful and body affirming classes each month. We are featuring our favorites, visit their site for the full schedule.
The Fat Girls Traveling Network is our members-only club. This safe space is where FGT members connect and receive discounts on our group trips, events, and workshops.
