We’re so excited to share our new logo with you! Over the last few months we’ve been working with Stephanie from SML Studio on it and we’re ready to unveil our hard work. Rebranding takes more time than you’d expect, especially if you want to do it right! Here’s a look at our new logo and some steps it took for us to arrive at the final design.
Brand Identity
As a travel company, we wanted our logo to speak to our brand identity without being too obvious. Our original logo had an icon that looked dated, so we opted for something simple and timeless.
Color Combinations
The most difficult part of the process was settling on color combinations. Initially, we wanted to go for something bold, bright, and pink. However, we eventually listened to the expert (Stephanie) who explained what a contrast checker is and why bright pink wasn’t the way to go.
Unveiled
Without further ado, here is our new Fat Girls Traveling logo! In the end, we have a few color variations, so if we find a reason to use the bright pink option, we will! However, we love this clean and classic look. We asked members of the Fat Girls Traveling Network and this was their favorite!
