We’re finally sharing photos from Fat Camp! Last year we hosted our award-winning retreat in Canada and Scotland. As always we worked with a local photographer to help us capture the memories and celebrate bodies at the group photoshoot. Here are a few of our favorites from Fat Camp Canada and Fat Camp Scotland.
Fat Camp Canada
We were excited to host our first retreat in Canada and decided to bring our babes to Prince Edward County. Since this is one of Canada’s wine regions our itinerary included wine tasting, museum visits, and crafting. Here are some of our favorite photos from Fat Camp Canada.

Fat Camp Scotland
Fat Camp Scotland was held during spooky season, so we wanted to lean into the spooky theme. Scotland has a haunted history, especially when it comes to witches. Our campers learned a lot about the Scottish Witch Trials. As a marginalized community, we discussed the similarities between being persecuted as a witch and experiencing anti-fat bias. Fat Camp Retreats are the opposite of the weight loss camps you might be thinking of. Our adult summer camp focuses on self-care, community, travel, and fun! If a long weekend of leaf peeping, pumpkin patches, and wine tasting sound like the perfect fall getaway. Fat Camp: Fall Foliage is perfect for you. Each camper has a private luxury cabin with heating and air conditioning, a kitchenette, a queen-size bed and a private bathroom. Most meals will be provided and your days will be filled with adventures and camp-themed activities, and fat-positive discussions.
